Having access to good datasets is crucial to facilitate the validation of predictive maintenance algorithms. To support the work done by PrimaVera researchers, students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and ROC Mondriaan have designed a test set-up that can generate failure data of bearings in rotating machines. When the test set-up is ready, various sensors will be installed to collect the failure data of the bearings. This will enable us to generate a good data set that can be used to validate diagnostic and prognostic algorithms.
